I’m Bernard, a former school and district administrator with over 30 years of experience in education. I’ve served in a range of leadership roles—including Chief Academic Officer, Chief Accountability Officer, Curriculum Director, Education Specialist, School Improvement Specialist, Secondary Principal, Federal Programs Director, Chief Financial Officer, and adjunct professor at public universities. I understand the full scope of the educational landscape—from teacher leadership to fiduciary governance.

As a lifelong educator who is deeply passionate about both learning and children, I have a hope and an intentional desire to help both educators and students understand the “why” behind the work—so that the “what” becomes attainable. I believe we must do more than close gaps; we must eliminate them in every academic area.

Through our work with Inspired Action Coaching and Consulting, we help schools and school systems operate in harmony by aligning the interconnected systems that safeguard learning for all. This includes developing a Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum that can be effectively evaluated through Instructional Monitoring and properly analyzed through high-quality, ongoing assessments.

We assist schools and districts in developing valid, reliable, and bias-free assessments. We also guide leaders in using data to drive decisions, monitor success, and implement sustainable practices across classrooms and campuses.

Leadership Coaching

Budget Preparation & Oversight

Federal Programs & CSFO Financial Assistance

Providing ongoing, side-by-side fiscal support and and guidance for federal programs, with a focus on establishing sound, sustainable operating procedures.

  • Facilitate support sessions to help schools and school systems maintain compliance and develop strong financial management systems.

  • Offer technical assistance with key platforms, including NextGen Harris, eGAP, and Cognia, to streamline and complete essential reporting tasks.

  • Assist with collecting and analyzing financial data and preparing actionable reports for stakeholders such as board members and district leaders.
